Pursuit of Becoming a Certified Residential Specialist - A Goal that took 2 Years But well worth it !

I am happy to report that I will be sending in the completed application with proof of transactions, along with core requirements and affidavits to be considered for this, the most coverted and highest professional designation awarded to REALTORS in the residential sales field.

LESS THAN 4 % of all REALTORS hold the CRS Designation and it has been a pursuit of pleasure for me to LEARN, GROW and CHANGE for the purpose of FUTURE benefit to our clients!

ATTENDS SPECIALIZED LISTING COURSE

FOR RESIDENTIAL REAL ESTATE SPECIALISTS

On 3/17/08 and 3/18/08 Grace Safrin of Valparaiso, IN completed a highly specialized course in the new skills involved in obtaining and servicing real estate listings, conducted by the COUNCIL OF RESIDENTIAL SPECIALISTS of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS®

The class was held in Merrillville, IN and is one of the required courses that must be taken by Real Estate Agents and Brokers in order to qualify for the coveted Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation.

The course included specialized techniques of seller counseling, pricing strategies, market absorption rates, latest marketing techniques and many other programs designed to close sales on residential properties.

"Today's real estate market is more complex then ever before and the listing process has become key in the movement of residential properties," said Grace, "This course provided me with new input to enable me to serve both buyers and sellers of residences more effectively."

Certified Residential Specialist Courses are presented in various cities throughout the United States in conjunction with the COUNCIL OF RESIDENTIAL SPECIALISTS an affiliate of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS®.

That is a great accomplishment. I wil be taking the final GRI 400 series in MAY to be able to sit for the associate brokers licence. CRS is my next goal after that is completed.

Nice going - It's a big accomplishment! I'm going to start on my CRS designation and Associate broker license this year! Good luck with your business

Grace - Congratulations on your big achievement! I don't have my CRS, just my broker's license. I know that it is a big deal. Kudos!

Congratulations! Investing the time and effort in to becoming a CRS was one of the best career decisions I ever made. Now, be sure you send referrals to other CRS agents!

Hello Jason, It was a big time commitment for me since each core classes were 2 days long and usually held in Spring, in our neck of the woods, when the busy season begins:)
