Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow Is Her Name

By
Real Estate Agent with Sailwinds Realty

A lovely plant that can turn into a tree, Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow is her name. A beauty and can be breathtaking in the right settings. The flowers open at a light purple, change to lilac, then to white before fading away completely so you will see all three colors on the her at once. That's why it's called Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow; the flowers last just 3 days and change color each day.

Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow Is It's Name

Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow likes a warm to temperate climate, and blooms Fall into Winter. Not too much sun, this girl's from the woodlands of Brazil and needs some shifting shade.

Beautiful as she is, she's also poisonous so don't let children or pets near her especially her seeds. She is part of the nightshade family.

Toni, what a beautiful flower, and amazing it is poisonous.     Wish they would grow here, but would not last through the cold weather months.

Toni - that is a beautiful flower.  But as you say, it is poisonous.  I guess the message I take away is, "Don't judge by looks, things are not always as they seem".

Hi Toni,

Kinda makes you think that she is related to the Black widow! OYE. Maybe bot the best plant to have around the house. Beautiful picture.

Have a good Super Bowl Sunday in Trinity.

Best, Clint McKie

Sheila - she is so beautiful.

Bliz - no, Ohio probably wouldn't work; and the animals would be a big worry for me too.

Joan - no, it wouldn't make it in your area unless you kept it in a pot and took it inside for the winter.

Grant - I wish I had put that in the post. Thanks.

Clint - no, I would worry about cats, and dogs, and, of course, curious children.

Yes, but if you have grand kids or pets I wouldn't take that chance. Why not grow African Violets? Mine are always blooming.

Toni, I'm like Belinda and I've never heard of her before, I guess with our stupid cold weather she would like growing her roots here. Thanks for sharing, I'm a gardener at heart and can't believe I've not seen one of these before now.
