Running buddies -- always appreciated, nice to have
Most days in California are dry and sunny, especially this year of drought. Lack of water and vegetation have brought our wildlife ever closer to populated areas. One recent mid-day run of mine was along the beautiful Sawyer Camp Trail in the hills along I-280 in San Mateo County. Here's a shot of that day's Running Buddies:
Today, however, we're all giddy with joy -- we had rain, and some nice amounts! Even the cold and wet couldn't detract from our happiness as we waited for our 5K Guadalupe River Run to begin. My Running Buddy today--my daughter, Susan.
When you live in the San Francisco Bay Area, one can play every day, rain or shine!
