2. Waipouli Beach Resort #C305. 2 bedroom 3 bath unit with distant ocean views/mountain views. MLS 268989 $395,000. Owned by Bank of Hawaii. Sold $395,000 CNV on 1/31/14.
Kauai REOs at Auction Houses:
1. 2911 Waa Road, Lihue. This property is now on www.auction.com. They have the auction staring date as 2/9/14 and starting bid at $50,000. All bids will also be assessed a 5% buyer’s premium.
2. 4759 Pohina St. Hanamaulu. 7 bedrooms, 3 baths. Listed at HUBZU.com.
On auctions, they are suited for cash sales only as home may not be financeable. It is definitely “Buyer Beware” terms. I definitely think the Kauai REO market will start picking up as Kauai foreclosures have picked up again. Most foreclosure notices are posted in the Garden Island Newspaper.
