Love Affair With Bridges in South Norwalk, CT (SoNo)
What can I say, I love SoNo! This enclave of Norwalk known as South Norwalk aka SoNo has so much history (incorporated in 1870) such great museums, the Maritime Aquarium, IMAX theater, fabulous restaurants, annual festivals, the Norwalk Harbor and Long Island Sound, sculling and easy access to NYC from the South Norwalk Metro North Railroad that will take you into 'the' city in one hour.
One of the things that intrigues me about SoNo is the architecture. Today, my focus is on the bridges that one can find in the town. It seems as though every time I'm wandering around SoNo, I'm always snapping additional photos of these wonderful, inspiring, eye-catching structures.
This particular bridge passes around the Maritime Aquarium. It has beautiful lines and inspires me to think of the time that it was built and appreciate the effort and skill that went into the building of this structure.
Take a walk with me through downtown SoNo and admire some of the bridges ....
Hope you enjoyed the bridges in SoNo as much as I do!
