The past several years we have had  pretty mild winters with not much snow .This year has been one snow storm after the other . Have you ever considered condo living . Condo living is not for everyone .There are rules and regulations to follow .Most of the time they are not so bad and are established for good reasons. They keep the community looking nice plus add to the residents not being disturbed at odd hours. It may stop your neighbor from painting their door hot pink or hanging their clothes out on their balconies . Not to hard to live with is it ?

You are part of a community and usually have a voice and can speak up at meetings  Condo associations are sometimes run by a management company who answer to the Condo Board .The Condo Boards are usually elected officials that give their time freely to vote on what needs to be done in the community .Being on the Board is thankless job .It is totally done for the love of the community .There are no perks . There are some condo associations without management companies. They are self-managed and do an excellent job .

Let's get back to my question .Exhausted From Snow Clean Up in NE Philadelphia . Nothing is as wonderful as looking out the window and seeing a crew of workers removing snow right after a snow storm. The sound of the snow plows cleaning the parking area is like music to your ears  . The sound of shovels making a pathway on the sidewalks and the sprinkling of salt so it will not freeze over . How wonderful is this ! There are some associations where the crews will actually shovel your car out of the driveway . There are some condo's where they just clean the roads and you shovel out your own car . Regardless it is a pleasure to have some one else do the shoveling . You may say I can't live in a small condo . I can't give up my dog . I hear you can not have dogs. I must have a garage  . I would like a gated community . I prefer two story living . I need a pool and social activities. You can have all of these things . You may have to give up something but gain something else in return. We just have to select the right Community for you . There are many to choose from in NE Philadelphia . Don't want to give up your dog . We will find a pet friendly condo community .You will know when we find your condo when we walk in the door . You will get that feeling .This is home .
