Albuquerque Snow After Winter Record Breaking Drought 2014

Albuquerque Snow After Winter Breaking Drought 2014 John McCormack McCormick Debbie McCormack realtor real estate for sale NM albuquerque homes realty

This morning we woke to a much needed snow after Albuquerque just breaking a 100 year winter drought record.  We are expecting another 2 -3 inches by this evening.  Many might cringe at the thought of snow but it’s a welcome sight to the dry land of Albuquerque and the high desert.

Good for you Albuquerque; some relief anyway is better than none. Hope conditions improve in your part of the land. You can always order some snow from Chicago; we ship free!! This season we have had 60 inches of snow compared to last season where we had 6 inches total.

Glad to see you got some precipitation, even if it's in the form of snow... Living in the Pacific NW I can't imagine how dry it is in New Mexico this year. Although, we better get some too here. The snow pack in the Cascades is way down! Love your photos. I bet it's exceptionally beautiful everywhere in Albuquerque.

So happy to see you also got some snow - and more on the way. I know it's hard to believe, but we're also in a low moisture year in the NW - and this snow is quite welcome here too. ( Except on freeways ). :)
