To the Realtor that steals my marketing signs...

By
Real Estate Agent with Veracity Real Estate Group, LLC

Marketing signs are popping up all over the place.  They must be effective, right.  So jumping on the bandwagon I ordered some marketing signs of my own.  The market is up and it's time to drum up some business, right?!?

Well low and behold, my signs disappear.  Over and over and over again.  I put my signs on corners where there are 5-10 other signs and they all remain.  I go to the site and look all around to see if my sign fell over or had some sort of a mishap, but nope.  Corner after corner my signs evaporated into thin air while all the others remain.

So to the Realtor that must be taking my signs...

If you spent your time marketing your self and your services you would be too busy with your own clients to be concerned with my signs and my marketing.

Furthemore, it is against our code of ethics, perhaps illegal, and just plain rude.

If you need help with marketing, give me a call.  I'd be happy to help you out, because helping one another is the real way to grow a business.  480-540-8100

Oh, and I have more signs...

No, but they come down just about as fast as they go up.  And, they must live close to me because I like to put them in my neighborhood when I go to the store and when I come back gone.  Crazy!

Very interesting! I was going to say it could be the City code enforcement but if other signs remain that's probably not the case.

Hi Dawn, why not try setting up a camcorder in your car and parking close to one of these spots, then taking a walk?  Hope you catch them!!!

I would think it was the city, too.  But, it is too fast and just my signs :)  My husbands wants to catch them in the act.  He thinks they are breaking the law and stealing my personal property.  I am not sure I agree since it is kinda like trash at the curb.  Either way.  I am just going to stay positive, continue marketing and keep getting new clients.  I may even make one of my children stand and wave my sign at the corner, and maybe they will take the sign and a free college student/tuition bill :)

Dawn, I am sorry that this is happening to you. That is beyond rude, inappropriate, and juvinile. I hope that everything is quickly straightened out and that your new signs bring you TONS of business!

Sad story. I hope it is not a real estate agent that is removing your signs.

Thanks!  So far it has been rather successful even given the fact that the signs disappear.  If it isn't a real estate agent it is a foe of real estate :)
