What has happened to our Elected officals

Here in Raleigh North Carolina today they expelled a  sitting State Rep for the first time since 1880 for mishandling of campaign money. What has happened to our politicians. We vote for them to represent us and they turn around and think they have been granted the world. Think what our children most think. The headlines everyday are filled with the filth of crooked politicians. We most take a stand. Yes they need to be held to a higher Standard, thats what we voted them into office for to represent you and me. Maybe one-day my children can look up to an elected official as a role model, until that happens they can witness electoral crime. May God Bless America!!
