I am having such a great time on Active Rain !  What a great resource for interacting with, and learning from, other Realtors, as well as mortgage professionals, home inspectors and home staging experts. 

The blogs I write have given us great search engine optimization, and we can post our blogs not only to the public, but to other specialized groups within Active Rain.

Writing posts is my relaxation, and my creative outlet.  But I also love to read what other people are writing about.  I have learned everything from how to write a "sticky" post that will bring consumers back to our website again and again.  Some posts are great teaching articles:  I've learned about podcasting, how to create the very best listing presentation, how to get your listings all over the internet, investing, and much more.  Other posts inspire and coach, and others simply give you an opportunity to "vent" when you're having a bad hair day!

I have met some phenomenal agents from all over the country.  I am working this month with a Keller Williams agent from Texas who read one of my blogs and liked me enough to pick up the phone and say, "I'm moving to Louisville and I want to work with you!  I feel like I know you from reading your blogs."

So is     a good use of my time?  You bet!
