Saturday Smiles: Tulips for Your Valentine!

Wow, tulips already?  I don't think we have them here yet...although I haven't been paying attn as there is so much snow everywhere.  thx for the tips on double cutting them

Ron and Alexandra- once again, your Saturday trips to your Farmer's Market did not disappoint.  I love tulips and am saving this post so I'll know how to make them last a bit longer.

Pretty stuff, Alexandra!  The last couple days, it's been raining fairly steady in Sacramento.  However, when I look out my window, there are Daffodils and yellow Crocus greeting my sore eyes.

Those are going to make someone's day.  They are just so pretty when they open up and greet the world.  Thanks for the tip about making them last.  I usually only get about 3 days.

Tulips are my flower of choice especially around Valentine's Day and my birthday. I planted hundreds in my yard but the moles got them. I was so disappointed.
