The First and Second Quarters of 2013 were very active in our area, with prices increasing rapidly through June. We are seeing the same trend begining so far this year.
Prices evened out last summer and then began to increase again in the fourth quarter of last year. The potential list prices I dicsussed with clients in December for their homes coming on this Spring have been increased to incoprorate the strong increases in prices of homes that have gone into escrow so far this year. We could see a repeat of the 20+% increase of values our homes experienced in 2013.
Of course the lack of inventory continues to create supply and demand inbalance and a wonderful opportunity for sellers!
