For all the homeowners who are waiting for the Spring market, wait no more. This is the Spring market.

Listen I know there is snow on the ground and the TV is constantly running ads about the Florida Keys and Aruba but take my word for it, it's Spring. The Spring buyers are out and ready to buy. Once the other sellers figure this out you might just have more competition than you bargained for.

Spruce up your front door. Get your home staged. Start interviewing some Agents. If you wait for April you have missed the bus or the boat, whatever your means of transportation, it left.

If you are thinking of selling, stop thinking and start selling. If a change is in your near future switch up the near to now.

Spring is in the air and it should be in your home.

Around here, inventory has been low for quite some time, and buyers are out there as early as they can get the best deal.

Hi Liz,

Agents wanting to be busy at any time would best be getting to work 3 months early in most cases, should they not? ..... The incubation period with most prospects seems to require it....

Liz we're experiencing the same thing in Virginia. I service the area's twenty miles south of Washington DC. Between Fort Belvoir and Marine Base Quantico and the pace is BRISK this year. In January and Februray my twin sister and I had more appointments and contracts that we normally have in May and June yearly. Home values are up, homeowners are learning they can now downsize or buy that larger home they need. Those who went through short sales in 2009,2010 and 2013 can not buy again. It's all good. Except we need more homes to sell now!
