Pleasant Hill is surpassing all Bay Area cities with the growth it is seeing within the real estate market. The $300,000 price tag for a Pleasant Hill home is a thing of the past. The median sale price in January of 2014 was a whopping $653,000 up from $366,500 in January of 2013, that’s a 78% increase. I haven’t seen that large of a spike in years! And like many other surrounding areas, the supply has decreased over the year, from 41 in January of 2013 to 39 in January 2014, not a huge variance, considering the sale prices are likely enticing home owners to sell sell sell. We’ll see what the remainder of the year has in store for Pleasant Hill real estate but my intuition tells me that prices will continue to soar. Click Here for more updates.
