Main Line Real Estate News
If you own a Main Line home, or
just like to follow the news there, then the word for 2008 is redevelopment.
All across the Main Line,
businesses are pushing for changes to both expand and protect the interests of
local businesses and Main Line
properties. Below is a smattering of recent articles and opinions
about the goings on around the Main Line.
In order to bring balance, hundreds of students in the
Lower Merion School District will be heading
off to new schools...
"Hundreds of Lower Merion students will soon be packing up their bags and books
and heading to new schools as the district begins considering redistricting
students. It is an issue that hasn't needed to be touched in the school district
since 1998." To read the whole story,

And for those who have been keeping watch,
"New master plan almost ready for Bryn Mawr." If zoning variances on
the Main Line are your cup of tea, you will love this article. I found it
a little dry myself, but hey, that's why it isn't a TV Reality Show.
If that isn't enough, then you can also read Sharon Eckstein's opinion piece
"Commissioners, let's stop and assess what Ardmore really needs." I
grew up on the Main Line (in
Ardmore) on
Glenn Rd, right in front of Suburban
Square, and I can tell you, the redevelopment they need to do cannot be just
another thrown together bloated project.
"Which runner-up will win Ardmore's crown?" is a good question.
