Everything Franklin Has to Offer

Historic Downtown FranklinNashville’s neighbor to the south has grown tremendously popular in recent years. The reason for this growth rests pretty firmly on the town’s illustrious history. Some of the most important events of the Civil War occurred here, and homes and monuments still stand as reminders to this day. Visitors flock to the Carnton Plantation and the Carter House, both sites that stood through the battle between north and south. But history isn’t all you’ll find in the 37064 zip code.

Shopping Everywhere

The quaint downtown area of Franklin is a shopper’s paradise, with boutiques and gift shops lining the streets. You’ll find designer pieces, kitchen goods, rare toys, and repurposed antiques. Listing the restaurants would require a whole new blog, but you must at least discover Gray’s on Main, Red Pony Restaurant, and Puckett’s Grocery.

If there’s something you need and can’t find downtown, The Factory is located just a short drive away. This converted space is filled with even more specialty shops that are sure to hold just about anything you need. From top-class antiques and designs on consignment to Amish furniture and fine art, there is no stone left unturned.

When you just need the help of a department store, Cool Springs Galleria is just north of downtown. Franklin shares this area with Brentwood and benefits from the hundreds of shops and restaurants found here. Really, the whole city is just shoppers’ paradise.

Living Arrangements

Whatever your style, Franklin has it. Of course, plenty of the homes match the city’s fantastic history, with Victorians and even Second Empire style homes lining the streets. Quaint cottages are found on the outer edges of downtown, and then newer ranch-style homes as you move even farther from the center of the city. If you prefer brand-new homes, you can find those, too. Dozens of new developments have popped up, both in Franklin and in the Cool Springs area. Just as your Realtor where you can find your favorite home styles, and you’ll see there are plenty to choose from in 37064.
