The 2006 report show it is home to 85 aircraft, a number of flight clubs, and Experimental Aircraft Association and has been the host of an annual Air Show for more than 20 years. The Aviation Association of Indiana's Fall 2006 report listed the economic impact on the city of Elkhart and it's surrounding communities at $36,236,503.
