What is the application process like once you find a Rental in Talega that you like?

You must be ready to act once you find a home. Getting your application together after you find a home may be TOO LATE. You need to have your application ready BEFORE you start looking.
APPLICATION
Your application details all information relevant to leasing a home here in Talega. Realtors in California have an application approved by the California Association of Realtors. This application will ask for basic information such name, birthdate, employment and rental history. All other documents will be used to support the information stated here. Property managers and landlords without agents may have their own forms. Everyone who will occupy the property who is 18 year and older will be required to complete an application.
CREDIT
Your credit report should not be older than 60 days. Some landlord/agents require that THEY run your credit when applying for their home. It will typically cost you $15 to $25 per property per person over 18yrs.
INCOME
You need to provide proof of income; this can include tax returns, recent check stubs, banks statements and any award letters to prove social security, alimony and child support payments. This information should match information on your application.
REFERENCES
The landlord/agents will verify employment, check references, they will check to make sure YOU pay your rent on time.
