Super Bowl Stinker

Super Bowl Sunday, whew, I'm glad that one's over. Not only because my team lost the big game, but also because I lost the open house game. It's taken four days for me to blog anything about it. On my first Super Bowl Sunday in real estate I only had 3 groups come through my open house. Somewhat disappointing, but also expected. Oh well, just like everything else in real estate so far, I'm learning what to expect as I go along. On a positive note, 3 was pretty good compared to some of my colleagues opens. Next year I may just promote it a little more, nothing wrong with a little extra promotion.

How did anybody else do? Was it better or worse than you expected?

I did mine on Saturday. Had three visitors.

I considered that a success. It only takes ONE to make the day.

I did a listing pre-presentation today that I will hold open as often as they want me to. clean house, great location, and on a cut-hrough street where two directional signs will bring them in.

And if I do 5 open houses, maybe I'll have a stinker too. You can only promote. You can't lasso them and drag them in.

Hey Adam

I chose NOT do to an open house professionally, buthave to admit my phone was busy right up until and during game time! I cannot explain it but a lot of people were out and about and call signs had my phone ringing much more than anticipated
