Hi Wayne.  #2 doesn't sound right with all the battles being fought over seas.

Air conditioning changed the world - not so much as the polio vaccine - but for us down South, almost!

Wayne -  Interesting statistics particularly about battle deaths.  I wonder if that is reported deaths or only international declared wars.  Certainly seems low.

Wayne, that is an amazing statistic how polio has almost been eradicated!  I remember getting my polio shot in the 50's!

Interesting facts. My home in Michigan had no A/C in it. No need when the temps are great in the spring and summer.

Great facts, in Germany and most of Europe very few houses have AC evening now days, but considering my parents house out there has walls a good 18 inches thick, it keeps the cold in during the summer and warm in during the Winter.
