119 new homes on the market as I write this! Doesn't seem like alot but it only takes 5 minutes to drive through the town and that includes its one stop light! www.cityoforting.org
The small town is Booming! People want to move here. Starbucks and Safeway did! The builders can't build the homes fast enough. And its one of my Golf Course Communities.
It is probably going to be one of my least expensive golf course communities featured on the blog. But probably won't be for long. The amenities the course offers include a great driving range,
chipping and putting greens, a proshop, restaurant, and meeting facilities.
It also features a hard to find Executive 9 hole course that winds through the well manicured neighborhood. www.highcedars.com
Homes line the 5th 
and
10th fairways of the championship course on the west. The course then has a natural boundary of the Puyallup River that creates the west and south border.
The course is surrounded by natural beauty and wildlife with views of the surrounding hills, Cascade foothills,
Mt. Rainier, eagles, and deer.
Although, I didn't get any when I was playing the course, there were four eagles just near the 15th Tee box cheering me on.
I even saw bears...
playing around the 14th tee box.
The walkable fairways are more doglegged than straight. Placement is crucial to your approach shots. Trees and bunkers are placed strategically for the amateurs occasional errant shots. Not a lot of trees, but enough to get in your way. Water comes into play on 9,16, 17 and 18. The finishing hole is outstanding and what a way to finish a round of golf. With a strong drive, the decision to go over the water and reach the green in 2 completes your day. If you succeed, birdie is in your reach, if you fail, bogie would be a good score.
