Lights, Camera Action TAKE 3
To say the start of 2014 has been a bit topsy turvy for me personally is an understatement. Now it is February 19th and I'm on TAKE 3. And it wasn't too long ago that I wrote TAKE 2 (February 3rd) It's simple just start over! This has got to be a first for me that I'm on my 3rd start for the year but I'm handling it in stride with a positive attitude. So things didn't go as planned - so what. Personal matters needed a lot of attention and that is far more important than business matters in my book. It's not to say I didn't continue working, indeed I did and still am cause it's been a crazy busy business beginning for 2014 which is all good and I'm grateful about.
But, and I rarely use that word....I sure could use a nice long walk on a beach!
And that will happen, just not this month! For now I'm doing my best to get back into ActiveRain and blogging. Honestly it 
was a 'welcome home' kind of feeling for me yesterday getting back on ActiveRain. I wasn't up to writing a post but it sure felt good to read posts and leave comments. I've spent a lot of years getting to know a lot of great people around the country and Canada on ActiveRain and it sometimes still amazes me what an awesome and genuine community ActiveRain is - really is.
On the way home I got hung up in a snow storm in Chicago and went back and forth from the tarmac to the gate many times because the jet needed de-icing. Thankfully it finally worked and we were the last flight out that evening.
Now that I think about it that whole airport scene
resembles the start of my year! LOL
I was never so happy to land in warm Phoenix. I really feel for all you folks back east that have been dealing with such crazy amounts of snow and cold this year. I hope you all find ways of bringing in a little 'early spring' to your life. You certainly deserve it! Better yet, schedule a trip to Phoenix and we'll relax together this spring.
That's all the blogging for me today. It's time to relax poolside in our 75 degree weather with a glass of wine. I'm done for the day - done I say! Now where is that beach? I know it's somewhere close.....just saying!
