Indian Hill Estates Wilmette was planned as an upscale community. The homes are substantial and all the lots required a uniform 50' setback. Also impressive is that all the homes were built with attached garages - something that is far too uncommon in our cold climate. Topping the houses were slate roofs, most of which are still looking good today.
