This week, YouTube Thursdays gets inspiration from today's webinar "There are Riches in Niches." If you didn't get a chance to join it live - plan to carve out some time soon to view the recorded webcast. Even if you're already enjoying some riches, you'll probably pick up a few tricks to help ensure your long-term success.
Let's assume you have discovered your passion (what are you good at, what do you love to do, what interests you most?), you've determined there is a market to justify your efforts, and you have mapped out a smart marketing strategy that includes video.
You must realize by now, any smart marketing plan includes videos, right? If not, do some quick research, you'll discover you're missing out on one of your best tools for SEO. Therefore, let's assume (again) you're going to ramp up your video marketing to capture your niche audience.
Do you have a clear path in mind? How do you suppose you can connect with like-minded people? First, define what makes you passionate about your niche. Chances are, you'll have similar interests to other people who share your passion. How can you best represent your niche? Remember, authenticity is critical.
I'm am passionate about the environment and have a great love for the outdoors. How can I integrate that passion into my real estate business? Fortunately, new construction is becoming more and more energy efficient, and I have great expertise in this field. Glad I got that EcoBroker designation.
Today's webinar reminds me to stay true to my niche, I can help homeowners live in a more comfortable environment, that saves them money. I can help them identify new homes that offer them energy efficient design, help identify re-sale homes that have organic, energy efficient capabilities, and obviously sell energy-efficient homes. Plus I choose to sell in a specific part of Clark County, called East County - Camas,Washougal and Fishers Landing.
The topics for my marketing videos can vary too. I don't have to showcase energy efficient homes, features, or products in every video. In fact, that wouldn't be much fun.
