Catfight at 6 AM on my bed.

We took in a stray.  Unfortunately my cat hates him.  He has been hanging around our neighborhood for years.   I know who his daddy must of been because he has extra toes.  He is a very handsome creature who our housemate has tamed.  The lady next door used to feed him but she has dementia and does not remember him.

We had a very cold snap and our old cat died.    We let him come in.  At first he stayed downstairs. This was good because my cat growled and hissed when she saw him.  The housemate is about to go to England so hubby and I have tried harder to make friends.  We have succeeded.  He wants to be friends in the middle of the night.  He goes around the house meowing.  He has jumped on the bed 3 times now.

The night before last he jumped on the bed while my cat was on the bed.  There was a cat fight on my bed at 6 AM.   Last night I decided that is why G-d invented doors. I do not want cat fights on my bed in the middle of the night.

I hope poor kitty settles in to your home, and doesn't decide to scratch on your bedroom door at 6 am! :)

Gets the job done!

He is settling.... That is why he is getting brave.  Come summer I will have to open the door for the breeze.  Maybe the  will get along by then.
