Spring on Big Sandy Lake - McGregor Minnesota

With the weather beginning to tease and the first signs of warmer weather showing it's face you can see it in the expressions of just about everyone around you that old man winter is getting on the bus. With that being said the Market in McGregor Minnesota is starting to heat up for this Awesome little community located in Northern Mn. The phone has started to ring and the Internet leads are starting to show up..... But what will this years market be like will it continue to be a little soft as it has been or will the Buyers start buying. Are inventory is down for this time of year! Are sellers tired of keeping there home on the market with no buyers to show? are buyers thinking that every cabin or lake home is a fire sale and offer 20% less that asking price before they even see it. Because that was the norm last year up here. Sometimes a 100K less than asking price WOW.

Is the election year going to influence the market, I will honestly say out of all the years I have been a registered voter I am this election paying very close attention to what is going on and the issues that are important to me and my family! I do know one thing that weather I represent a Buyer or a Seller that the market is and has changed even since last fall and one must really pay attention to the true facts about this market place and do they really need a place or can they afford a place, My advice is to do the math and make a sound decision before you jump into a deal. As real estate professionals lets think about the clients and not the $$ at the end of the day, We as Realtors/brokers need to do are part in correcting the times we are in coach the buyers and sellers to make Awesome sound decisions about real estate, Like do not over extend your self Mr. Buyer! You may be thinking how can I say that to a buyer? Just do it and if they question you say I am concerned about you. Besides if they are your client you should have explained that to them in the beginning.
