Factoids for Friday

By
Real Estate Agent with Wayne M Martin

A few facts for Friday:

1. High school graduation rates are at a 40 year high.

2. The death rate from strokes have declined by 75% since the 1960's. Death from heart attacks have also declined. If the heart attack survival rate had not declined the number of Americans dying each year from heart disease would be more than a million  higher than it currently is.

3. In 1900, African Americans had an illiteracy rate of nearly 45% according to the Census Bureau. Today, it is statistically close to zero.

Factoids for Friday. Enjoy your day!

I'm going with graduates are not taught as well and it's much easier to graduate today.  Love the stroke and heart attack statistics.....we are taking better care of ourselves today.
