Runnin' of the Green - Denver's Classic Irish Jog - Sunday 3/16/14
The 25th annual Runnin' of the Green - the Lucky 7K will be held this Sunday, March 16th.
Start: 17th & Wazee (in front of Union Station)
Registration begins at 7 am, race begins at 10:15 am
Entry Fee: $39.00 (until end of February 3/1-3/15 $44.00
Day of Registration $47.00
RACE DAY - 3/16/14
7:30 - 9:30 a.m. - Race Day Registration (Registration packet pickup will close for all events at 9:30 a.m. sharp! No Exceptions!)
10:10 a.m. - Challenged athletes start
10:15 a.m. - 7K Run/Walk Start (there will be a rolling wave start). Participants will line up according to their expected pace per mile.
10:35 a.m. - Leprechaun Leap 2 Mile Starts (non-timed)
This race is a charity event with proceeds going to Volunteers of America. The event has provided many thousands of dollars to this charity.
Here's the link to register, and there is a discount to all veterans. Discounts are given to those registering prior to the event. This race will go on no matter RAIN, SNOW or SHINE! Parking downtown will be FREE, as meters are FREE on Sunday!
Last year's event brought many runners/joggers to the streets of Denver!
