Thank you to The Debris Doctors

I wanted to post a simple thank you to a great Company I discovered last week.

Everyday we are constantly reminded of all of the evil and terror in the world.  We watch the morning news, read the evening newspaper, and are bombarded with the turmoil of the current situation in Iraq, the ever increasing national debt, the "slumping" (some might say, not me however!) housing market.  It can be depressing at times.  I have often wondered if there are still good people out there.

Last week, I ran into some very nice people.  What they showed me was an act of true kindness.   One of my new listings, 1 Morgan Way in Dover New Hampshire is a bit cluttered.   I guess cluttered is a kind way of putting it.  As Realtors, we know those listings, stuff stacked in every room from ceiling to floor.  I had to snake my way from room to room through boxes and bags, filled to the brim with god knows what.  It was obvious, my client needed help.  Elderly, and not able to remove the items herself, I felt compelled to not necessarily go "above and beyond", but figure out and facilitate the removal of the "stuff".  I had know idea what to do.  Sure, I had heard of 1-800-got-junk, but her "stuff" was not JUNK.  These were personal items that needed proper placement.

House full of debris

I was referred to a great company.  The Debris Doctors, Based in Manchester New Hampshire.  Joe and Phill, from The Debris Doctors, drove to Dover New Hampshire from Manchester, about a 45 minute drive.  After about 20 minutes of communication, it was evident to both Joe and Phill that I needed help with this client.  I had asked her to try and separate items that she would like to keep from the items she would like removed from the property.  It of course had not been done.  Armed with a large pick up truck, both Joe and Phill started throughout the house, separating items, sorting, and placing the unwanted "stuff" in a pile.  They filled the back of the truck with broken t.v's, bags of clothes, and broken furniture.  To my surprise, they were taking this "stuff" out of the house, bringing it back to Manchester to the local Salvation Army, FREE OF CHARGE!  They had spent a good part of that afternoon out of the kindness of their hearts.

It is simple acts such as this, that reminds me that there are still good people out there today.  You had better believe, when I need services such as this again, or if I know of anyone needing help like this, Joe and Phill from The Debris Doctors will be the first people I will call!

You can reach Joe and Phill of The Debris Doctors at 603-236-9713, or by email at anytime at thedebrisdoctors@aol.com

Thank you again Joe and Phill,
