Why Not Host A Springtime MeetUp?

We can think of reasons why we can’t host an ActiveRain MeetUp:
I’ve never done it before
I don’t have the time
I don’t think anyone will come
That’s not my style
Blah, Blah, Blah…
Why not give it a shot? You may find that it is a wonderful experience! There are many ways in which to do it, just check out what others have done in the past. I search of MeetUps will likely give you a wide variety of ideas. There are no real defined rules on how to host; think of it as a social gathering with friends.
Invite those that you know in your area, maybe a few will commit to coming. Post on ActiveRain so that those who may not know you can come and meet with your group in person. Many areas do not have the opportunity, you may be the spark that reaches those in your area.
