There are many steps you can follow when buying a home.  Some of my clients are comfortable doing a self-evaluation by pulling their credit (www.annualcreditreport.com) and making sure there are no discrepancies.  Other clients just want me to refer them directly to a lender, I usually give them 2 or 3 to choose from.  As the real estate agent, I orchestrate the entire process.  All you have to do is provide the documentation requested and wait for my instructions.  During the process I will call you 2 - 3 times a week, sometimes more depending on what part of the process we are working on.   But the key to success must begin with clear communication and direction.
