Often in business and personal situations we "bound ourselves" into normal thinking and behavior. So I would ask you with that in mind,
"Are You Leading A Life Drawing Outside The Lines?"
Think of that in the coloring books as a child. Shade inside the lines. That is the command. Why? Cause it is NORMAL. I am not saying scribble all over the page but OUTSIDE the boundaries is where the magic and the fun and REAL LIVING happens.
I am not saying to be a massive sinner or rebel rouser.
JUST AN EXPLORER.
JUST AN ADVENTURER.
Variety is the spice of life, and no one in personal or business or LIFE who did NORMAL ever accomplished very much, experienced very much, invented airplanes and such, CHANGED the world!! It is about creativity, meeting people different than yourself, suspending judgment at least for awhile.
In our capital city in Texas, Austin, a very casual laid back kind of city back in 2000 because the city has many art and music and athletic festivals, they came up with a slogan saying KEEP AUSTIN WEIRD. This doesn't mean dope smoking, but an expression of FREEDOM as an EXPLORER to work on that artsy right side of your brain.
Personally I think weird is GOOD, and for me at least I am always seeking out other weird types, because not only are they REAL but they are great learners and if nice reciprocal type people great teachers of what they LEARN back to me.
PRACTICE IN YOUR LIFE OF DRAWING OUTSIDE THE LINES. Keep YOU weird!!
