Please give me your opinion of my logo

Logo

I love Golden Retrievers, and as some of you know I recently fostered and then adopted a G.R. orphan. Every so often I see these really cool logos that other agents have developed, and I wanted one, too. At a very slow open house a couple months ago, I tried to think of something that would show my love of G.R.'s and would also be real estate related. This is what I came up with.

Since my family and friends can't be objective, either because they don't want to hurt my feelings or don't want to live with the repercussions of ticking me off, they have all said it's great. I would like truly objective opinions from my peers.

So, what do YOU think? Don't hold back.

Hi Christine, we like it. We recently left Coldwell Banker, and although we don't have a dog, the business cards with the golden retriever got alot of comments. CB only had 2 business cards to pick from, plain or with the dog ..... we picked the dog.

It's very catchy. Everyone loves golden retrievers; they are friendly and loyal. The only thing you may want to consider is whether you want to be associated with a dog? You may want to consider removing the newspaper, it's a little distracting and you will still be able to get the "retrieving" message across because the dog is a retriever.

Hi Chris, I would just consider what the logo might look like when shrunken down to fit on a business card, will the text still be legible. Otherwise, I think it's a great logo.

I vote yes, yse it! I like Michaels idea - call my mom - on the newspaper.

I currently send out quarterly newsletters with photo of my golden on it. My neighborhood knows my Golden better than me I think! And that's ok, they all come out to say hi when we walk.

I think it is really cute. I loved Eugenia's idea about retrieving the best deal, etc....genius! I have a golden myself! If it reflects your personality and you love it, I say go for it. Cute!

Hi Christine...Love the Goldens. My only concern, although it doesn't seem to be anyone else's, is that CB is so identified with the GR. As soon as I saw it I thought you were a CB agent.

Very cute!

You should have your picture taken with your dog or borrow a puppy. Advertising experts tell us that pictures of people are the most view and catch the most attention.

C/B is Extremely touchy about this, they are very protective of their Golden.

Might want to run it past legal, you are with a large company and they should be able to do this free of charge for you! If C/B came after you, you can bet they would add Hanna to the suit.

Great idea, just do your homework first!
