Could our winter weather be slowing down the economy? Federal Reserve Chairman Janet Yellen told the Senate Banking Committee that the economic data shows a slowdown in spending. But she says she wants a firmer grip on the data to see if the winter weather has anything to do with it or if it is the Fed’s policy of scaling back monetary easing.

A slowing economy could mean a slower housing market. Senator Dan Heller (R-NV) represents one of the hardest hit housing market areas. He questioned Yellen on the progress of getting back to a normal economy.

Yelen, Bernanke what is the difference. They are stooges for the Bank of International Settlements in Switzerland. The Fed has a seat on this board just like anyone else. When are we going to mature and understand what a mess we are in now.Just keep printing money
