"Riding off into the sunset..."

What a beautiful day!  I decided to take a much needed break and ride my horse.  He is a bay Arabian gelding, and I just love him.  If there are any other horse lovers out there, I would love to hear from you.  Unfortunately, we don't have any land, so I have to board him.  But, I am blessed to be only about 20 minutes away.  My daughter has a thoroughbred.  She really loves horses as much as I do.  Someday, we hope to purchase some land and be able to have our horses with us.  Well, I just thought I'd share a little bit about me and my family and what I love to do.

Sorry, the only horses I ride is on my wife's family farm in Mexico. I think that there is a group here on AR that specializes in Horse Properties and Horses. You may want to repost this there.

Frank, I didn't know about the AR group specializing in Horse Properties.  I will have to check it out.  Thanks!  :)

Vincent, Yes, I do believe my horse (By the way, his name is "Blade") did enjoy the exercise...He was running and kicking up his heels... Thanks for commenting!   :)

Debi, I have fallen in love with two of Jane Smiley's books, Horse Heaven and A Year At The Races.  If you've never read her, I think you'd enjoy both of these.

Patricia,  Thanks for telling me about Jane Smiley!  I don't think I've read any of her books.  I'll definitely try to find them.  :)
