The Countdown to Spring 2014 and Snow is on the way.... Again

No, spring is not in the air! Not yet. Seems mother nature thinks this is funny or that we deserve all the cold air and snow this year. The east coast has been hit with record snow this year and I am so done with it. Spring 2012 and the trees by waterfront was in full bloom early that year. 

     There is hope on the horizon. 19 days and counting!

Newburgh NY in Spring

I love when these flowers bloom every spring. It seems that it will be late considering we are still gearing up for another storm and temps this morning were as low as 4 degrees. I long for warm weather and picnics by Long Dock. A gentle breeze suits me better than the cold billowy winds.

I am longing for Spring Janis. We are expecting snow in Chicago and to see blooms, buds and sunshine sounds good to me.

Hello Janis, I love Spring time and cannot wait till it is here - not sure it will arrive this year on time but it will be great when we can put this cold, wet and icy time behind us.  Thanks for sharing and beautiful photo!

If even the guy who likes winter (pointing finger at self) wants spring, it must be time :) Nice spring photo to remind us what is coming soon. Maybe this end of weekend storm will be the last of it!

Hi Janis, while I really hate the heat, I am so ready for a warming trend - everyone has had a really difficult winter this year, no one was spared!  Off to Morocco at the end of the month and when I come back, it will surely be a new season!

Janis, I am counting too. A winter storm is coming tonight but by the end of the week we will be in the high 50's again.
