Carrabba’s Italian Grill, Germantown, Maryand
Dolores and I were guests of Carrabba’s Italian Grill in Germantown, Maryland for dinner tonight. We were there to sample the new menu items. It was like having six dinners in one evening. Yes, we ate too much but the experience was outstanding.
Yes, you will want to try the new dishes. It was difficult to select the best dish but the Riggtoni Marlino was my favorite. “Wood-grilled chicken, sautéed mushrooms and sundried tomatoes tossed with rigatoni in our housemade tomato cream sauce.”
Both of us enjoyed the Pollo La Scala. “Sautéed and finished with white wine, mascarpone and our roasted red bell pepper sauce.”
We were forced to make room for dessert. A Cannoli was perfect to finish the meal. “Mini pastry shells stuffed with sweet ricotta and chocolate chip filling, topped with pistachios and powdered sugar.”
We also enjoyed a pitcher of wine that was not included with the tasting experience.
