Here is some great advice for home sellers from a professional stager. Staging is an art. Staging is NOT Interior Designing, it's making your home show in its best light for the vast majority of buyers.

Stage Presence Homes real estate offers all their sellers a staging consultation free of charge. This is one of the many perks of being a client of Stage Presence Homes VIP Seller.

A Home Stagers Advice to Sellers

Being a Montgomery County PA home stager, I have to tell complete strangers to change the way they've been living for the past however many years. It takes a certainly personality to be able to do that without offending someone. Sellers also have to keep a certain mindset to take that advice and really understand where it's coming from. So here is a home stagers advice to sellers so that you'll hopefully understand: We're here to help, not criticize.

Don't be offended by what we say
A good home stager comes from the point of view of a buyer. We're walking into your home for
the first time and seeing all the negatives that you don't. We're going to mention that the orange faux finish paint in the living room isn't the best choice for a color because if we don't, your buyers will. And their offer will reflect that. It's our job to come up with a plan to fix the perceived negatives so all your potential buyers see is a beautiful home, showing at its best.

We have your best interest at heartHome Stagers Advice to Sellers
Home stagers have the same goal as you and your real estate agent: Let's get your house sold! You might think to yourself "Is this really going to help me sell my home, or is she just being nit picky?" Honestly, I'm being nit picky. It's my job! Having the right amount of accessories on the mantle or the right art in the bedroom really does make a difference on the impression a buyer gets when they walk in a home. Clean, warm and inviting is our goal because that's what buyers fall in love with.

We may do this all the time, but we know moving is difficult
You have your reasons for moving. Maybe it's financial, maybe it's personal, but we understand this may not be happening at the best moment in your life. What ever your circumstances are, we want to know about it so we can understand how to help you better. Don't get embarrassed if you feel a little emotional during the process. Being honest with how you feel will help you get on the track to a successful move.

Selling a home is stressful enough, let alone having a stranger tell you to change how you've been living. Follow this home stagers advice to sellers and let us help make the process go a little smoother and a little quicker.
