PROVERBS - CHAPTER 22:2
"Rich and poor have this in common: The Lord is Maker of them all."
MY THOUGHTS: I think we forget this. God is the maker of the rich and poor. I will look at it this way - if the Lord made the Rich, then what prevents the poor from being rich...
I was thinking about the fact that most churches don't empower the rich to share HOW they make their money with the poor, so the poor can become rich. The church seems to focus on giving just enough money to the poor to so they can barely get by and stay POOR. We could have POOR no MORE, if the body of Christ would allow the rich to show the poor how to become rich.
Of course, some people choose to be poor. They don't want to change. Is this true?

Jesus said Mt:26:11: For ye have the poor always with you; but me ye have not always. So to focus on the poor in not profitable. To focus on Jesus is! I am a strong believer in helping the poor but not just for giveaways. We need to give them a fish and then teach them to fish for themselves. Prov:23:21: For the drunkard and the glutton shall come to poverty: and drowsiness shall clothe a man with rags. Lets work to motivate the poor to produce a profitable lifestyle because all the freebies will ensnare the poor in the bondage of poverty.
