That is right...North Branch Minnesota is under a heat wave.
WE broke the freezing point today and will again 6 of the next 7 days.
The water is starting to runand it won't be long before there won't be any empty ponds to hold it all.
With from 2-4+ feet on the ground, (depending on where you measure) we are hoping for a slow melt. That is what we will have this week.
But for now it is back to T-Shirt only when splitting wood.
I wish you a slow melt, too. It's always best when the melt "firms up" at night.
After a winter with barely any snow, we got about 8" on Sunday and Monday. Tuesday it started melting and falling off the roof. I have about a 6' sidewalk outside my basement slider, so went out and dug a trench through the berm so the water could run into the yard instead of under the door. But then... a whole new load of snow came off overnight, along with pouring rain.
I'm still using the carpet shampooer to suck the water out of my office carpet.

That is positively balmy for you part of the country. Won't be long before you change from snow plow to garden plow!
Bill- I hope a slow thaw for you! I guess a quick one would result in floods? Be careful out there!
LOL...unbearable heat! Barely getting the snow to drip. Today should be better when the sun comes out.
I will take another 45 degrees or so on top of this....but not all in one day.
Heh, we have freezing rain/mist falling right now, but it was in the 60s today.
