Nationstar Bank - Short Sale Fiasco,,, I Need Help

By
Real Estate Agent with Re/Max Ranch & Beach

Hi All,

I thank you in advance for reading this post, any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

We've been working a short sale with Nationstar Bank since August of 2013.  After negotiating with the bank negotiator for month's on end, Nationstar made my clients participate in Auction.com at the end of December.

At first Auction.com said there would be one and only one auction, then they made us participate in 3 auctions.  After 3 unsuccessful auctions, the file was returned back to Nationstar.  We then received an offer which we submitted to to Nationstar for negotiating.

Now Nationstar is telling us we have to go through the Auction.com process again!

Is there anyone out there in the Real Estate profession that may have a contact in the upper hierarchy at Nationstar Bank?

Thank you so much for your time and any assistance you can provide.

That is crazy to continue to do the same things over and over again expecting different results.

Hey Allen,

Nationstar gone nuts.  I don't have a contact at Nationstar.  Maybe start with calling Jay Bray the CEO at 469 549 2000 on Monday.

Best of GREAT success to you in 2014!

Just had a NationStar short sale turned down because the family of 4 plus elderly person they are now caring for had to move out of a 2 bedroom townhome they now need to short sale. Subject property was purchased when husband was single. Submitted short sale application in Nov 2013. Owners do have some retirement account assets but are spending more than they make every month with their current residence and the short sale property.

Any ideas of how to appeal decision at NationStar? I will call the CEO, as suggested above. Nothing to lose.

Has any one else had any success with NationStar in appeal?

This is an FHA loan - HUD agency help suggestions would be appreciated.
