The Voice of San Diego Real Estate | Seeing the Beauty Within

One of the services I provide to my home sellers is getting the property staged to look it's best for market. It can be a challenge but I believe that there is always beauty within and it is my job to find it. 

I spent of my clients money approx $1200 to achieve this look and it is even more interesting that most of it was spent elsewhere through the home. Kitchen, Baths and Master Bedroom.

My client was rewarded and quite ecstatic  when the new reveal brought the highest price to date for this hidden treasure buried within that took several weeks, a lot of combined effort and a couple large storage units to store what was edited away.

Hi Kathy, It was the clients upholstered  furniture when I uncovered it. I sellected andhad the client  purchase accessories, lighting and area rug and a whole lot of polish, LOL.

PS, I don't have any inventory.

William - When I saw that title line, I just knew you were going to provide philosophical inspiration, for spiritual and emotional growth.  I couldn't have been more wrong. . .LOL

However, that being said, your photos provide excellent testiment to what great staging and home preparation can accomplish in the quest to selling a home.  

The lighting provided, and the moving of that couch to open up the space is pure genius.

Hi Everyone, thank you so much for the encouraging comments. I always feel flatered with so many compliments but while the transformations are usually quite wonderful and get the job done, each one is such a challenge that I often wonder how I am ever going to pull it off. Thankfully with many years in my background in design, it really helps to have it to draw on. It is no doubt the most stressful part of what I do. And I am never really sure my clients always love the idea of having to buy more things when they already have way too much to start with. But that is usually why my clients select me in the first place, since my reputation often precedes me,

Ha, ha, ha, in my impatience, William, I saw the first photo and thought it was your staged photo, and said, hey, wait a minute!!! I can do that. But then I realized, duh. That's the before photo. The difference between the two photos is striking.
