Well, we know it would happen.
With all the extra snow and moisture this year and with a fast thaw...we are going to have floods.
Many right now are caused by ice dams.
For the average person there is not much we can do...but prepare.
Flooding will interrupt electrical services and more.
Set aside fresh water and non-perishable foods.
If you are in the flood area and likely to be flooded...GET OUT NOW!
Don't wait until you are swept away to call for help.
Every year people are caught in an emergency that could have been much less so with just a bit of planning.
