Why do you keep thinking they care...

I have been readin alot of blogs about short sales. I have done a few and lost a few. Their is no real home attached when we are dealing with a bank or lender. It comes across as a note...a piece of paper...that is like all the others on the underwriters desk....their is no emotional involvement what so ever. To an underwiriter...their is no family being displaced or possible homeless. The don't know the color of the house or the neighborhood it is in. It is like a dollar bill....it's only purpose is to be bought, sold or traded. It has no real vlue and is use to accumulate wealth. So when dealing in short sales...or any P & S. It is best to be real nice....honey attracts more bees than viniger.

I am involved with my first 'short' sale and can't get over the indifference that Countrywide has shown both to the seller and the buyer.  Sad.

Linda I am sorry for your sad situation...both the shrt sale, but mosly haveing to deal with Countrywide. They have no direction now and are probable consumed with the FBI investigation....sad to say...but it's only a matter of time before a couple thousand workers are in the headlines walking out of their office with only their personal belongings in tow....
