Buyers Agents VS Sellers Agents

There are many differences between a Buyers Agent and a Sellers Agent.

A Buyers Agent is one who works for the buyer. Our job is to ensure that we find the Client (YOU) the perfect home that they are looking for. We can do this a couple of ways. One way is to have the Client inform us of what exactly they are looking for, such as the number of bedrooms, the Square Footage of a home, a pool, etc. Another way to help them find what they want, is to have them search our website! They would log on to the site, and from there they would search for homes and inform us as their Buyers Agent, which homes they would like to tour. Of course, there are other ways that we can help them find their Dream Home.

Next we will move on to Sellers Agent.

The Sellers Agent is one who works for the Seller. Their job is to ensure that we meet with the seller to discuss how much other homes in the area have sold for and give them our opinion on what we think we could get for their home, based off similar previously sold homes. From there we give them the options available to them such as Listing their home on the MLS site, where their home would have the most exposure, putting a Sign in their yard (if of course they would like a sign) and so on. We help guide the seller on negotiating their home when an offer comes in. We advise them if it is a poor offer or a strong offer while always keeping THEIR best interests in mind.

Whether you are a Buyers Agent, a Sellers Agent, or both, it is very important that you keep a strong communication going between you and your Client. Both of our goals as a Buyers or Sellers Agent is to help our clients get what they want/need. A happy client is a happy Agent!
