Springing Forward with our Marketing Photos?
Another wave of winter has come our way but no worries, spring is right around the corner. Those snow pictures should be banished and spring green and blue skies should take their places when we see the real spring has come at last. So don't forget as soon as the weather breaks, you owe it to you sellers to get updated photos. Pat Kennedy reminds us in her post below.
Today I showed several homes that had beautifully done brochures, except for one little tiny thing.
The exterior photos all showed snow on the ground!
While some parts of the country might not be feeling the spring thing yet, here in DC, the snow is a memory - or we're hoping it's a memory. The present reality is a beautiful blue sky and temperatures that are almost warm enough to put the top down.
The early bloomers are not out yet, and the lawns and trees are still a bit on the shaggy brown side. And if I were to list a house today, I wouldn't get that many brochures printed up, with a plan to change out the exterior photos when the azaleas and flowering trees are out in a couple of weeks' time. And with the MRIS virtual tour photos, there is no excuse for not doing a quick substitute.
We're talking exterior shots here, and those are not all that challenging to take, assuming you are able to do a quick photo edit to straighten and crop and pictures.
You can do that. Right?
