Anyone tired of the long winter season in Ohio....the gray skies, clouds, rain, freezing rain, and snow?  Thinking about relocating to somewhere where there is over 300 days of sunshine…like Arizona?  If so, we have the best place and best agent to help you.  When thinking about places where home sales have decreased and where awesome deals in real estate can be found, think about Arizona, especially the Florence area.  You can actually buy a brand new custom built home in an Anthem maintained community for as little as $125,000!!!  This doesn't include the building incentives you get such as money toward closing costs, free HOA dues, etc.  Did I mention this is for a BRAND NEW home?  If you like to golf, work out, fish, bike, hike, or whatever, you can do it all in Anthem at Merrill Ranch.  For more information or for a great agent, contact us today.

Have you taken possession of your home?  If so how has it been?  I bought a home there in Jan. as well and have 3 other friends that also bought after me.  I think it is FANTASTIC.  Our sales associate has been unbelieavable.  Our home will be completed in less then 5 months.  We can't wait.  We visited the comunity a few weeks ago and are still amazed on what this community has to offer.  The only knock is that it is aways from Scottsdale, however Chandler is close and everything will be out there eventually.... therefore at these prices I can wait.... and enjoy not being stuck on the 101!  If anyone else has bought and spent any time out there I would enjoy anyones comments about the area ans the service Pulte has provided.

Our home is a second home and we try to enjoy it as much as we can.  We are not retired yet, so it is rather difficult to get out there whenever we want.  Our son lives there and states he will never move!  Of course he has a great job, which we are very proud of!  It is awesome to Florence (Anthem) in the late Fall, Winter, or early Spring of Ohio weather.  We enjoy it.  I agree, everything possible will be in the Florence/Queen Creek/Casa Grande area eventually.  Just since October of 2007, Florence and Queen Creek have grown tremendously!  With Scottsdale, Phoenix, Mesa, Tempe, and Chandler being so crowded, the only place to go is Southeast - to Florence!  Email me direct about any detailed info you need and I will help you as much as possible.  Thomas@ThomasTeam.info.

My wife and I purchased a home on Superbowl Sunday that will be ready at the end of next month. We were also very impressed with the community and are looking forward to spending some time there in the winter months. We live on Vancouver Island.

Does anyone have experience with using a local firm for the walkthrough? We won't be able to come down at that time,

Regards

Emmett

Emmett,

Congratulations on the purchase of your new home!  We are not aware of anyone local to conduct your walk-thru sorry.  During our walk-thru we only found some areas that need paint touch-ups and they were taken care of prior to our actual closing.  Is there anyway one of you could fly there then fly back the same day or next?  We did that for our pre-drywall inspection but both of us went there for the final and spent a week there.  We even rented a home in Anthem for a week which was a wonderful experience allowing us to experience life in Anthem as if we were living there.  I would recommend that for anyone who is interested instead of trying to find hotel accomodations.  Anyway congratulations again and if we can help or give any additional information just let us know.

Thanks a lot for your response. We are kind of stuck here for now but I have found some firms on the internet and we will work it out.

Very much looking forward to spending some serious time there. The staff and community center are everything one could hope for.

Regards

Emmett

Greetings from Seattle!

My wife and I are going to Anthem this Wed to Mon the 7th.  My brother in law has a 2nd  home there and they absolutely love it.  We are hoping to move there.  If anyone has any added input for us please let me know.

Thanks,

Tyler,

Enjoy your trip!  I believe you will find Anthem to be a wonderful place to visit and live.  This time of year you will certainly experience extreme Arizona heat.  However, the fall, winter and spring weather make it worth putting up with the heat for about 3-4 months or so.  We're still new to the area so we are certainly not experts on Arizona weather.

They have had some fairly good deals on their inventory homes trying to move them.  I would certainly suggest you check them out to see if you can get a deal on one of them.  If you are set on building I am not aware of any incentives they are offering right now on new builds.

I do have a local agent who is very familiar with the area and especially the community who I believe would be a great assset for you and I believe worth speaking with to represent you with any negotiations on your new home.  If you want futher on this email us at Thomas@ThomasTeam.info
