Around Town: Green Valley Book Fair

On Mondays, we will now feature an "around town" topic, where I post about a Valley Happening going on this week. This week the topic is The Green Valley Book Fair.

The Green Valley Book Fair is a family-owned book outlet store, located in a warehouse, but they're only open certain times during the year.

They will open again on Saturday, March 22nd at 10:00AM, and new to 2014, the book fair will be open for THREE WEEKS at a time as opposed to two. Click here for a preview of what will be featured at the book fair.

It may be snowing today, but Saturday is shaping up to be a rainy day according to Weather.com, which means it'd be a perfect day to head out to the book fair. The Green Valley Book Fair is located in Mt. Crawford, Virginia just two miles off of Interstate 81.According to the Green Valley Book Fair website, here are directions:

Take Interstate 81 to Exit 240 (the Mt Crawford exit). From the stop light at the top of the exit, turn east onto Frieden's Church Road. Go 1.5 miles & turn left onto Rd 681 at the Green Valley Book Fair sign.
