I live in League City, TX and I am very proud to call it home! If you are considering relocating, check out League City. You will be pleasantly surprised with our price of living, quality of living and our home town feel with big city presence near-by!

League City has the small town charm that you and your family have been looking for. You will find oaks trees lining the streets and town shopping centers and parks for the whole family to enjoy.   League City has the entertainment and amenities to make your visit memorable and enjoyable. League City has been designated as one of the 100 Best Small Cities in America. With its closeness to Galveston Bay, the Gulf of Mexico, NASA Johnson Space Center, and its short drive from Houston and Galveston Island, League City is the perfect place to call home.  Clear Creek and Clear Lake form the northern border and there are many neighborhoods built on these lovely waters.  The area is the third largest pleasure boat anchorage in the United States.  League City is home to some of the best restaurants on the Gulf Coast.

The 2010 Census places the population of League City at 83,560. The City has experienced an 83% percent population growth since 2000. With the population expanding new businesses have developed as well.

The University of Texas Medical Branch was developed along 1-45 in front of Victory Lakes Subdivision. With this expansion many job opportunities have been presented in League City.

League City’s main street is lined with beautiful oak trees many of which were planted in 1907! The trees are one of the many things that help make League City feel like that small town with City charm.

There are numerous resort areas with in League City and many people from Houston resort there.

Clear Creek ISD, with in League City, was formed in 1948 and as of 2010 Clear Creek ISD was ranked as an “exemplary” school district. As of 2008 the graduation rate for Clear Creek ISD is 97%.

There are 22 K-12 schools in League City, TX, including 18 public schools and 4 private schools. League City public schools belong to two districts, Bay Area Charter Inc District and Clear Creek ISD District. 

There are 10 League City elementary schools, 8 League City middle schools, 5 League City high schools and 26 League City preschool schools. All Schools are within Clear Creek ISD.

Clear Creek ISD is second-largest in the state to achieve exemplary status from the Texas Education Agency.

Clear Creek ISD has received three times a rating of Superior Achievement under Texas' new Schools FIRST (Financial Accountability Rating System of Texas) program. Clear Creek ISD students scored well above the state averages on the Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (TAKS) tests.
