These days there are so many things to distract us from our work, our kids, our spouses, our passions, our mission in life

How many times do you check facebook in a day?  Email?  Pinterest? Etsy? Online shopping?  News outlets?  Text messages? Twitter? LinkedIn?

How much trash TV are you watching -Real Housewives of every major city in the United States, The Bachelor, Honey-Boo-Boo? 

Not to mention real life distractions-good ones like kids, family, friends, co-workers and of course ActiveRain...and bad ones like drama caused by any of the above!

For me, I got lost in my mission.  I got frustrated with the devil I knew (my previous company) and lost some confidence in even my own abilities to get the job done.  I was doing what I needed to do, but not doing what I knew I should do. I wasn't even writing here regularly, much less going after new business, or sharing my passion!

If you take a minute to read my zillow reviews, you will find that I am REALLY good at my job.  I am passionate about helping individuals and families find the right loan program to help them to buy their first home, their last home or any home in between.  I am passionate about credit education and helping those with challenges overcome those challenges to get to where they want to be.  I am passionate about my family, especially my incredibly beautiful, talented, smart and funny 8 year old! 

I lost focus, I hid my light.  In the time it took me to beat over 300 levels of Candy Crush, I realized that each time someone gave me a life, that I wasn't living mine!

I re-focused, changed companies, re-newed my mission and I am busier and happier than I have been in a long time!  And you know what?  In the last several months, I have not taken MY time to match a "stripey and a donut" or worry about what's the reality trainwrecks are doing this week to screw up their lives, their families or their mission!
